Copenhagen

On Saturday, we went to Copenhagen.
(København)

And I took a-million photos of the same thing.
Which I've significantly narrowed down for the purpose of this post.

Isaac and the Big Mushroom Statue in the park.

We bought lunch at this place called The Big Apple.
And I've gotta' say, they have the best tuna sandwiches ever.
We ate in the park because it was sunny,
and the field was full of people ...
Just chilling.

Then we walked to the place in all the post-cards.
You know, when you see a post-card of Copenhagen,
nine times out of ten it's taken here.

There are people everywhere.
The air is salty, the wind is blowing, and you can hear seagulls overhead ...

... Which is pretty much perfect if you ask me.

I love how Europeans aren't afraid of color.
The buildings are like a watercolor wheel.
So many yellows and reds and blues and the occasional green.

Afterwards, we visited the downtown commercial area.
And this musician was singing when a man loves a woman ....

We bought strawberry crepes from a street vendor ...
And post-cards, and a boho bracelet (happiness) ...
And then we went home.

If you'd like to see more of the photographs I've taken of Denmark,
you can follow my Facebook blog page here.

I want this boat.

  1. I know exactly what you mean about color. While in Argentina, I took lots of pictures of brightly colored buildings and homes. I love your photos.

  4. Thank you everybody. It is a beautiful place - plus they have a spot for you to stand and take these photos, so they look like everyone else's that day, for the most part ...
