A handful of my favorite films:
* You've Got Mail. Confession: I've seen this movie about 200 times. I can recite it, line by line.
* Love Actually. A British Christmas film, what's not to love?
* The Die Hard Series. For Bruce Willis, really.
* Serious Moonlight. To feed my Meg Ryan fetish.
* Jane Austen Book Club. "Jane Austen all the time! It's the perfect anecdote - to life!"
* Dan In Real Life. I'm fond of family reunions, realistic plot-lines, and recognizable characters.
* Monty Python and the Holy Grail. British nonsense - essential for everyday life, no?
* How To Steal A Million. Arguably the best Audrey Hepburn movie I've ever seen.
* Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. A kid's movie, yes, but I've seen it at least seven times. It's magical.
What are some of your favorite movies?
Lauren Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium is magical...I love it! And I have never seen How to Steal a Million...but it is now on my list...Dan in Real Life for all the same reasons...my sis's and I love it...and I do not like Meg Ryan...I am sorry...hopefully our friendship can endure through that : )
ReplyDeleteI was going to sign it with my blog name...but I can't remember my password... : )
Thanks Priscilla! I suppose we can get over the fact that you don't like Meg Ryan. . .haha. She does have odd hair in most of her movies, not to mention a boyish walk, a silly laugh, and a dopey thinking face. So I'll give you that. But you might like Serious Moonlight - it's kind of funny.
ReplyDeleteI didn't think I'd like Undercover Blues but Steph had me take it anyway...it was so random...but so funny...if I ever have the opportunity I will give it a try : )
ReplyDeleteHahaha yes that is a Kough classic. Which basically means that it very well may not be funny. We just think it is because Matt did a weird dance in the middle of the movie, or something equally random, and that's what we associate with that movie. (I'm not speaking specifically about Undercover Blues, just in general. You know. You've watched movies with us before).
