Summer
I can't believe July is almost over already. It's been a full month, with the busy season at work, and custom orders, and all the weekend things we've been trying to cram in before moving stateside ... like the viking museum and boating, kayaking on the fjord, and Tivoli. You know, things we meant to do right after moving to Denmark, and didn't. Next month we hope to do some sight-seeing here in Denmark, take an evening canal tour with a live band, and spend a few hours with the camera in Roskilde and Copenhagen. Kind of say goodbye. Isaac and I aren't leaving until mid-October, but we will be travelling all of September (our very first three-week family roadtrip through eight countries), and then moving out of our apartment and into a B&B for two weeks before flying home.
I don't think Isaac understands that we're leaving yet. The only thing on his radar is the fact that at some point he will have a birthday. He asks me every morning, "Mama, TODAY is my birthday?!" Not yet, kiddo.
But soon enough.
i shall have to visit you on the east coast when you move back. it WILL be the east coast, no? :)
ReplyDeleteYes you must! And actually I don't know yet.
