The Sweet Blog Award

I was recently given The Incredibly Sweet Blog Award by Courtney Rene, a writer and book-lover who blogs about all things literary (many thanks hon!)

Those awarded must share four of their guilty pleasures, and then pass the award along.  So here goes:

1) I like my secrets.  I think, to some degree, it is a guilty pleasure to keep things secret even when asked, point blank, to let the cat out of the bag.  Rather like Margot from The Royal Tenenbaums.

2) I write in books.  And I'm not just talking about high-lighting and margin notes - I will actually write alternate endings if I am unhappy with the final chapter.  This is probably offensive to most authors in the world.

3) I daydream about blueprints.  You know, buildings I'd like to own someday.  I know this is a guilty pleasure because it is an incredible waste of time.

4) I really like ice.  To an absurd degree.  I go through a 10 LB bag of ice every week and a half.  By myself.

So there you have it.  I'm officially awarding the following blogs:

  2. Ice? Really? Hmmmmm. Okay. As for writing in books, I have to say...hahahaha as I do that. I wonder at times if other authors would find this offensive, but me, I dont care. If they spent the money on one of my books, I'm happy.

  4. Ah, thanks for giving me this award! ☺ I'm in the middle of moving, so it'll be next week before I can post it - all of my posts this week were scheduled last week!

I like to daydream about blueprints, too, and I love to draw room designs! ♥ I've got a post coming up on Sunday with drawings I think you'll like! ☺

  7. Ha, I love #2. I've never done this myself, but it seems like such a quirky thig to do, so I'm glad someone does it.

  8. I love that you write alternate endings in your books. That just may be the bestest coolest thing I've heard in forever.

    :-)

I love blue prints too.. Kinda for the same reason I love dictionaries: so many possibilities... I can day dream.
