{ a meme }

meme noun \ˈmēm\ (mw.com)
: an idea, behavior, style, or usage that spreads from person to person within a culture.

Borrowed from Pioneer Woman
I’ve been tagged by Mumsarcade to participate in a meme.

The rules are as follows: List seven things about yourself that other people may  not know, and then tag fifteen other bloggers (or, in my case, five).

01) I’ve always wanted to be able to call complete strangers “hon.” Can’t pull it off (print doesn't count).  For whatever reason, I feel like a phony when I say it.  Possibly because I’m not a southerner.  Tim says I’m not a true yankee either . . . which makes me . . . nothing?

02) I have moved at least fifteen times in my life, including four states and an old school bus. I do not remember at least five of these moves.

03) I have enrolled-in/attended six different colleges, four of which still send me mail.  Couldn't decide what I wanted to be when I grew up.  Peter Pan Complex.

04) I used to be a temp, of sorts.  Receptionist, sales assistant, consultant, barista, florist, cashier, house-keeper, lawn maintenance, data specialist.  I'm thinking about trying underwater basket weaving next. . .

05) I once ran over someone’s foot with my car.

        . . . This meme is making me sound shifty.

06) Someone gave me my first car because they liked my band.  It was a white ’88 Ford Taurus that had a tendency to stall out and leave me stranded at intersections and god-forsaken mountain roads.  I loved that car, despite itself.

07) I also love ping-pong.

I’m officially tagging the following:

Sarah K. at Flopsy Red Roses
Chloe at Whatnotness

If I didn't tag you and you want to play, pretend I did and go ahead.

    wow, a lot of professions, aye?
    hmm. if i was older than the person, i'd definitely be able to call that person "hon". even if i didn't know them. i'm not southern, but my best friend is so i can pretend. ;) right?? right?!
