Oh, Bill

Isaac did the most surprising thing last night while we were at mom's.  Lydi came out of her bedroom wearing this little cowgirl button down shirt and a big flouncy pink skirt - you know, the kind with a hoop and tiers (not sure why she has it), and Isaac just loved it.  He walked straight up to her and touched her skirt and said, "Wow, wow, wow!" in this breathy little voice, like he'd never seen  anything so incredible.  And then he took both of her hands and started waltzing her around the living room - no really, it looked like waltzing!  He had all these special little moves and spins, almost like he'd been taking a dance class behind my back.  I tried to think of all the movies he'd seen with dancing in them, and all I could come up with was a handful of Disney films and Larry the Cucumber with Barbara Manatee (which could hardly suffice considering she didn't have a skirt or feet, actually).  Finally Lydi had to go take the skirt off because Isaac wouldn't leave her alone.

Barbara Manatee (manatee, manatee), I'll be your mon amie (mon amie, mon amie).  I'll take you to the ball (to the ball, to the ball).  I hope you're not too tall (you might have trouble dancing).

  5. You're right. Larry has got some pretty serious talent though - I mean, he can totally carry around Barbara M. without any arms or hands! And I'm fairly certain I've seen him eating with chopsticks in the Pirate one.
